Buddhism is not the worship of the historically real "Gautama Siddhartha" as God. That is no different from Christianity, which is a monotheistic religion. It is a completely different worldview. Enlightenment is finding God within oneself, discovering that the whole world is God, and that the world and oneself are one. There is no time, no space, no distinction between self and others. It is closer to the cosmology of quantum mechanics than to religion. "Budo" is not a sport, but a physical technique to approach this enlightenment. Self-defense is only a small part of the result. It is both a joy and a shame that today more Western minded people seem to understand this than the Japanese.

Speaking about the rainbow body on one of you're recent videos. You do not have to say you bow to each Buddhist monk. Eyes am a Tibetan rainbow body and to obtain the rainbow body is easy. I have taught many how to obtain the rainbow body already but it comes with a very strict diet.
